I asked the boys what they wanted to carve on their pumpkin this year. A funny, happy (traditional) pumpkin face? A spider? (We've been talking about those around here recently.) They liked those ideas initially, but they both agreed this is what they wanted me to carve:
Lightning McQueen!
It was fun to see the pumpkin lit up with the candle inside and see the smiles of delight on their faces. It turned out better than I thought! (Thanks to the template I used!)
