Amy's Dedication

On this snowy Sunday, we were able to make it to church safely and had Amy dedicated today. (She turns 18 months old on February 15.) The quilters club at church makes special mini quilts with the child's name, birth date, date of dedication, etc. Amy's quilt is ready, but was with a person in Sumner this morning, so we'll be presented with the dedication quilt in the coming week(s).

Thanks to Aunt Traci for taking these pictures of the dedication via the live service feed via the internet. I think they turned out surprisingly well considering...

Above: This was just after Amy shy-ly obliged being held by Family Pastor Hughes for the closing dedication prayer.
Below: My favorite photo is this one...looks like the boys are fervently praying for Amy's sanctification, doesn't it? Ha!!
Sometimes our church posts the dedication on their website, so if they do, I'll be sure to post a link to watch it just as it happened today.
***They published it! Here it is...go the February 9th Child Dedication link for the video.***

So precious! I loved it when Amy pulled off her headband and tried to put it on Matt:) Jay and David were so well behaved and so adorable when they folded their hands to pray for Amy. Wonderful dedication and a priceless memory! Thanks:)
